After calling Polygonize() on a document, calling GetJoint() on CAWeightTag returns NULL.
However, GetJointCount() still returns a valid count.
If I don't call Polygonize(), then everything works as expected.CAWeightTag* wt = (CAWeightTag* ) (ob->GetTag(Tweights)); LONG joint_count = wt->GetJointCount(); // valid count for (LONG i=0; i < joint_count; i++) { BaseObject *joint_ob = wt->GetJoint( i, doc ); // returns NULL! }
Also, is Polygonize(TRUE) buggy? Because my scene doesn't animate after I call Polygonize(TRUE) on a document.
What specific animation properties are lost if I don't pass TRUE? -

I can confirm the Joint bug. Strangely it seems only to happen with R12 files. Polygonizing pre-R12 files will list the Joints.
Polygonize(TRUE) seems to work fine here.

Ok, it seems to work if the mesh and the joints share the same parent object. It has nothing to do with pre-R12 files after all. I will report it as a bug.

Thanks! I guess will have to avoid calling it for now.
