Hi,
I'm studying SDK and just want to creat a little plugin which will copy an omni light to five given points. First I think I should creat an object plugin which will creat/generate five "light" objects in this case, but the SDK said object plugin only generate polygon objects, then which plugin type should I chose in this case?
Thanks. -

You could use almost any type of plugin to do this, but the most obvious would be a Menu Plugin, which could have a possible GUI to allow different settings.
You can indeed use an Object plugin to do what you want, I did this exactly with my PlaceOnPoints plugin (which you can get at http://www.spot4d.co.uk)
I basically made a copy of the object, without converting it into a polygon. Which is why it will work with lights -
