can't execute any python script

Hi there,

I hope this is the right place to ask this basic question.
After updating my Cinema 4D to version 2024.4.0. I can't execute any Python scripts anymore.

The button is just greyed out.

About your First Question

Your question is an end-user question, and therefore not about the SDK. I have moved it to General Talk. End user question must be asked via our Support Center, the SDK team cannot help you with them.

In this case we can make an exception because SDK owns the Script Manager at Maxon. It is the first time that I hear that problem. Can you please give us a more precise bug report? See Reporting Bugs & Crashes in Support Procedures for how to do that.

I would also recommend reinstalling Cinema 4D to rule out any wonkiness in an installation (although it seems unlikely that this is the cause).

reinstalling everything solved the issue!
