      Hi,

I tried checking out 2023 for brief time.
For some reason, the script manager behavior is different or might I say inferior than the previous version.

      1. Open a script in script manager
      2. Do some editing on an external ID.
      3. Go back to C4D. It doesn't alert me that something has changed in the script.
In the previous version, it says, "Would you like to reload the updated script?" or something like that.

Is there a way around this?

Hi @bentraje sorry I overlooked your topic. You are indeed correct the behavior changed since S26 to ease the use of Visual Studio Code Plugin.

The new behavior is like that:
If you have a script loaded but unchanged in the Script Editor, any external change made to the file, will be reflected to the Script Editor when you are back.
If you have a script loaded in the Script Editor with unsaved edits, any external change made to the file, will not be reflected to the Script Editor.

With that's said, especially for the second case you are right this is not optimal and we will improve to let you the possibility to refresh the code if desired.

        Cheers,
        Maxime.
