GetGeneralLicensingInformation() returns error

Hi,

the docs say about GetGeneralLicensingInformation():

Returns:
OK on success.

So, under which circumstances would GetGeneralLicensingInformation() ever return an error?

Hi,

sorry for the delay of this answer.

This function will return an error only if the systemId and productId can't be retrieve. userId, userName and licenceId can be empty, but they will not throw an error.

Thanks! What could be the reason for not being able to retrieve systemId and productId? Maybe a cracked copy of Cinema?

Hi,

For the systemId there's a lot of parameters that could failed.
Those are sensitive information. I don't know if a cracked version should return an empty information.

If one of your users have an issue retrieving that information, i suggest him to open a ticket to our support.

I already did If they didn't contact you, it strengthens my suspicion, and I can simply ignore further mails from that contact.
