      Hi,

I am a beginner in programming Python and would like to create a dialog box.

In the Python SDK I have found
      https://developers.maxon.net/docs/py/2023_2/modules/c4d.gui/index.html?highlight=activeobjectmanager_setobject

IDs in the range 1000 to 899999 inserts a Cinema 4D command.

Where can I find the assignments of the Cinema 4D commands to the IDs?

      Kind regards
      stefan

Hi and welcome to our forum,

For your next threads, please help us keeping things organised and clean. I know it's not your priority but it really simplify our work here.

        • How to Post Questions especially the tagging part.

I've added the tags and marked this thread as a question so when you considered it as solved, please change the state 🙂

About the IDs, the best/easiest way to find them is the Customize Commands DialogBox inside Cinema 4D. (shift F12). When you select a command at the bottom right, you have the ID.
