      Hi,

Initially thought that only Redshift (or any third party) Revised Node Editor API is not available. But I check the documentation, there is actually no Node Editor.

So basically, I still can't script the creation of material shaders and nodes inside the node editor even though it is a native material (i.e. Prorender or Standard or Physical)?

      Is this assessment correct?

        Hello,

your assessment is correct. The Cinema 4D R21 SDK does not provide an API to edit node materials.

        best wishes,
        Sebastian

Are there possibly any functions for traversing existing node graphs?

The Cinema 4D R21 SDK does not provide an API to edit or access node materials; this includes traversing the internal node graph.
