Is it possible to create an object that mimics the capapbilities of a sky object without actually inserting a sky object.   Can I make my own object inherit the capabilities of a sky object so that when the user places my object in to the scene it wraps around the whole world like a sky object does?

      Thanks in advance,

Hm, depends on what capabilities of the sky object you want to mimic. Would simulating it as a gigantic sphere with a texture do the trick for you?

That would work if the sphere grew whenever you zoomed out so that you could never pass the sphere.  I want to create a sky object with many more features.  so just adding a sky object will not work.

          Thanks,
