      In short, there are 2 problems:
      1. plugins.MessageData.GetTimer() doesn't work
      2. "c4d.MSG_TIMER" doesn't mentioned in python documentation.

        thanks for pointing this out. I acknowledge, there's a bug in the Python layer causing this.
        It will be fixed with one of the next releases.
        And the documentation will be addressed as well.
