Hi hackers out there.

I've got a simpel question I have no solution for:
Is there a way to select the active tab of a tabbed toolbar? What I would like to do is to automatically select the right toolbar if I change to point-tool mode or to the polygon-tool mode. That would realy improve the workflow.
