      Developer Needed

We are looking for a developer to help us find a way to automate a project that requires a high volume of replacement textures and renders.

The idea is to have a C4D scene set up with one texture and then replace the texture and set different outputs for rendering. We currently estimate there could be over 200000 scene files to set up with different textures.

Replacing textures and setting up manually would be extremely time consuming and we are looking to automate this process.

The way we have planned this project is to have one folder with all 600+ textures in them named alphabetically with there corresponding reference. e.g

      tex (folder name)
      A
      B
      C
      D
      etc

We envisioned the process to go something like,

(assuming C4D is already open with a default texture applied but no image applied to colour channel)

Step 1- Load 'A' to colour channel
Step 2 - Set output path as 'take name from C4D project open + texture name'
Step 3 - Save project as 'take name from C4D project open + texture name'

It then needs to repeat all steps but iterate the texture without closing C4D i.e

Step 1- Load 'B' to colour channel
Step 2 - Set output path as 'take name from C4D project open + texture name'
Step 3 - Save project as 'take name from C4D project open + texture name'

We would need to be able to set up specific paths for where to save and set output paths.

This is not set in stone and if there is any other quicker, easier way we are always open to suggestions.

      Thanks all.

We look forward to hearing from you.

      Bark and Bite Team.
