I would really like to see this texture in c4d...

it's a lightwave texture, but it's realy useful, you can see the bump output on the far right of the image i've added. it is very useful in water simulation (gives good spikey waves). i just hope that maybe either maxon, or one of the plugin developers woud like to make this happen. this noise is also to be found as one of the defaul textures in photoshop layer effects (try adding bevel and emboss texture).

it creates sharp peaks and rounder toughs, just a very useful shader to have 🙂 (oh and dents and cranal textures in sla don't do this)

The next thing i want is bacially two shaders... they're shown in as follows in this movie (it's only 80k)

What it is a basic procedural shader again in lightwave. But it's very useful and would be especially useful in c4d, it's interference patterns caused by a number of radial circle emitters. Speed, number of emitters (there are three in this sample) and wavelength are all controlable here. I don't know but i'm guessing it might be possible to do the difference thing in fusion to get the interfrence patterns over a number of gradients, but there's ni ripple generator, and you cant animate gradients inside of fusions currently (or any sla material) so either a dedicated material to do this, or at least a material taht animated with the ripple waves and an offset (so it can be done using fusiions) would be great 🙂

Actually, crumple is available in the new SimbiontC4d plugin.  It's under the name Clouds.  Just change the colors to get it to look like youre example.  The plugin is still in beta but will be final soon.
SimbiontC4D is a free plugin that executes darktree textures in C4d.  You can download the beta at www.darksim.com

          Hello there,
We are developing a craniofacial reconstruction system for BP3D. Might anyone have experience of using inductive logic programming (declarative programming)? One would normally default to using either Prolog or LISP!

          Kindest regards,

Any code that has a C interface should be pretty easy to call from the C++ context of the API. You would then use the normal C++ SDK example and add your own libraries to the project.
I have only limited experience with LISP (and Haskell), so I'm not able to answer technical questions about those languages. (For example, how to compile them into a C library.)
PS. One reason this post was lost for so long is that it wasn't in a thread of its own. Given the non-hierarchical threading used in this forum, it would be easier if everyone started a new thread when the subject changed.
