Taking the plugins distributed with c4d as an example, they add a submenu to the "Plugins" menu called "Cinema4dsdk". A lot of the commands in this submenu have icons ("Spherify" and "Triangulate", for instance). Would it be possible to add an icon to the "Cinema4dsdk" menu item itself? Here's a quick mockup:
As a plugin developer, it would be nice to be able to make your plugins submenu unique in this way.

in Cinema's menus there are only icons for commands, objects, tools etc. but not for actual (sub-)menus. So you won't find such a menu icon anywhere in Cinema and there is no way to edit this menu to add such an icon. But thanks for suggesting this idea.
