    SceneHook always painting, no selection needed

      I have a SceneHook plugin that is working fine.
      It is filling the cds structure with the RGB array for displaying the polygonal object just the way I want.
      However, it only does so when the object is selected.
      How can I make the SceneHook plugin display the object with my array of colors even if the object is not selected?
