script messed up my icons

I have made an icon for my python script and saved it as .tif file with the same name as the script.
But when I add the script to a pallet somehow the area light icon shows up as icon for my script instead of the custom one. And at the same time, the area light in the menu has no icon anymore. I have no clue how or why this happened.Does anybody know how to restore the default icons? I have no clue how to do this. Removing the preferences or the layouts has no influence at all. The icons stay messed up. I have even reinstalled C4D, but that too didn't restore the icons.
I did a search on the internet, but found no answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
