Since the R15, it's no more possible to get and change the Importer/Exporter settings with the Message ``c4d.MSG_RETRIEVEPRIVATEDATA.

In consequence, the ExportAlembic.py example script don't work as expected.

I hope it will be fixed soon. It worked on R``14.041.

Thanks for reporting this bug. I've been able to reproduce it and I reported it to the developers.
Sending MSG_RETRIEVEPRIVATEDATA message to the exporter instance returns an empty dictionary and seems to be broken in R15.
