It's been a while since I thanked the people here for all of their help and support they've provided.
So I think is time for a booster.
For everyone who has posted something here. Even if it's only one or two posts.
I thank you for opening up and sharing your knowledge with the rest of us.It's also important for me to say a special thank you to folks like Robert, Steve, Remo and Giblet that sell commercial plugins. Yet also offer the majority of the help here in the C++ forum. And for free of charge.
These people are posting things that eventually end up in someone's commercial plugins.
They are essentially training their competitors for free. While most of the other commercial developers out there never share a single thing they learn with anyone else.
So I think it's important not to forget this. And not take them for granted. So cheers Guys.
If you ever get to feeling like you're wasting your time here...And nobody really appreciates your efforts. Then come in here and get a little booster shot. !Smile

I'll second that. I've been impressed with the support I've received, and seen here. It's been very, very good.

While I agree with all you say, and I myself also think this forum is invaluable, there is no "danger" in disseminating knowledge. From what I have read about software development, especially about small startups, not discussing solutions and sharing knowledge is one major fault.
I am also very thankful, like you, that people take their time to share their knowledge. We are a very small group here, really. A handful persons..
