After googling and searching here, I was unable to find any information about what a 'normalized matrix' is (alal GetMgn() and GetMln()).  What is the difference between these and the other matrices?

A normalized Matrix has the three components normalized. v1, v2 and v3 have a length of 1 each.

Ah, yes.  I remember some mentioning this a long time ago but couldn't find that information again.

By the way, I've resolved the rotation slow-down issue.  Definitely behind the scenes in C4D but applying the matrices elsewhere has made the speed invariant to those changes.
