Hey Guys...
in my daily business i work with a digital protocol named DMX512. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMX512
I can transform my DMX Signal into an Artnet Signal. Check the link here --> http://www.artisticlicence.com/WebSiteMaster/User Guides/art-net.pdfMy question:
Is it possible to bring the 0% --> 100% DMX Signal via the artnet into C4D to controll brightness of lights, rotate an axis or move objects?
As example:
DMX Channel 1: Brightness of Light A
DMX Channel 2: Brightness of Light B
DMX Channel 3: Brightness of Light C
etc.DMX Channel 4: Rotation of Object 1
DMX Channel 5: Rotation of Object 2
DMX Channel 6: Rotation of Object 3
etc.I already talked on the phone to a austrian expert, but he run out of time and say, i should ask google for that problem. Now i´m here an im looking very forward for your ideas and answers
Best regards,
Leo

I would imagine there is a way to do it using the internet as your means of sending/receiving data. py4d can access the internet. It's all quite specific tho, and im pretty sure you need to program an arduino or some similar device to get the data from c4d into your light system. interesting idea though!
