      Hi there,
      I am trying to get the color on a certain position of an object. basically I guess that I need to use basechannel->Sample .. but for this I need to call InitTexture first and this requires an InitRenderStruct but how do I create that? and the Sample requires so many parameters I dont have in my object plugin.

      is this whole thing really as complicated as it seems to me at the moment?

      thanks for any input here. maybe there are still some thread i didnt found until now. but the ones i found didnt really help me understanding it.
