Hi,wondering if someone could help with a beginners' question here. I know how to insert a text object...

var txtObj = AllocObject(Osplinetext); \> doc->InsertObject(txtObj,NULL,NULL);
...however, to save having to loft nurbs etc. I was wondering is it possible to generate a Mograph Text Object instead? I've had an exhaustive hunt, but can't find anything.
Many thanks
Jon

Of course, whoever is going to use that is going to need the Mograph module. Keep that in mind.
You haven't hunted far enough. Check out the modules folder under the Cinema 4D install (mograph/res/description) - but you need the Mograph module installed to have that information.

Hi Robert,
thanks for the hint, unfortunately I've got a case of myopia here. I've looked through all the files in the mograph folder and I still can't figure out the correct syntax. I tried *tail between legs* but please could you elaborate for me?
thanks
Jon

There is a file 'omograph_text.h/res' in the description folder there for all of the properties.
To make such an object, you'll need the unique plugin ID (instead of the Othis or Othat). The ID can be found by launching the Command Manager (Window->Layout menu) and searching for text. The ID is 1019268.
