Seems that during render, desc->GetParameterI() always returns NULL for the BaseContainer*. I've tried using an AtomArray for the second parameter with similar results. Is there no way to do this during render?

For the record, I'm trying to handle PolygonSelection visibility animated during render. The animation track is attached to dynamic description checkboxes which need to use the DESC_NAME to get at the PolygonSelection in question to do show/hide the PolygonSelection. Works fine when not rendering, always returns NULL when rendering.

      Help! ;0)

Nevermind on this. I see a five year old message that notes the same situation - no answer forthcoming. So, I assume that I should abandon all hope for this to work and seek an alternative.
