      I've been searching through the forum and I'm not sure I'm really reading what I am reading.

      Can anyone confirm for me that there is no way to create PLAKey's in C.O.F.F.E.E?   I was working on importing new point-level animation into C4D 10, but I'm completely stymied by trying to keyframe each PLA.

      Thanks!

        There is no way to create ANY keys with COFFEE. Don't ask why this limitation exists, but there you are.

        Right from the R9.5 COFFEE doc:

        Note: At the moment there's no way to allocate new keys with C.O.F.F.E.E..

        C++, C++, C++, ... C++ ;0)

          Thanks for confirming.   I read the "at the moment" and 9.5 as being a little bit on the old side and something that would be swiftly remediated in an animation application.

          I did find a work-around though (by triggering keyframe record in the GUI.)

          What further confused me is that we used to be able to create keys in C.O.F.F.E.E.   🙂

            Maxon never got key creation into COFFEE for R9.x and then with R10 and the big change in animation it is even worse - as, if even if they added it in R9 it wouldn't work in R10. Hopefully they are working on this for the R10 version of COFFEE!

              Let's hope so.   I hear key frames are all the rage among the cool kids in animation! *grumble*, *grumble*
