Hey Guys,
I'm just curious as to how other developers go about incrementing the build of a current plugin. Is there a way to control this sort of incrementing within Visual Studio? So, each time the plugin is compiled it will increment the folder name or name of the solution file.
I'm just at a point with my plugins that incrementing the version number is necessary. Thanks in advance for any insight.

For some projects i've been using a revision management system: Subversion. It's very nice and free. You get a database with a complete history of your project and you can go back and forth anytime or just see the differences. Each time you checkin a revision number is incremented.
There is something like that from MS, too. I think it's Visual Source Safe, which integrates into Visual Studio. -

Thanks Michael! I'll look into both of these solutions.
