      Hi,

in my volumetric shader I wanted to call GetSurfaceData from within CalcVolume. The SurfaceIntersection data is valid.

My call works from within CalcSurface but in CalcVolume it doesn´t seem to work, which is horrible!

So my question, does it really not work? What would be the alternative in CalcVolume?

      Thanks
      Samir

          Hi Matthias,

thank you. It seems to be my fault though. In another shader I can use GetSurfaceData successfully in CalcVolumetric.

Ok, so I will look into it. 🙂

          Thanks!
