I thought I'd try out compiling plugins as UB. All sounded really simple in the xcodemigration.pdf guide. But I still haven't figured out where to find "cinema4dsdk.xcodeproj". I was unable to locate it in the recent demo packages. I also asked a friend, who has access to full versions on both Mac/PC.

So where do i get this project file? And will it work with the Demo version?

You need to get the UB version of Cinema 4D, which can only be done if you have Cinema 4D R9.5 MacOS, and install it. Then you'll find that file in the plugins >> cinema4dsdk folder of the installed UB version. That is why you cannot find it - it doesn't exist in the standard MacOS or any Windows versions.

Added: I'd like to also mention that just getting the project file, 'cinema4dsdk.xcodeproj' isn't enough. You need the UB version so that you have the updated SDK class and header files in order to compile your plugins and a new set of api libs to go with them - all with extension '.dylib' for UB.

          OK, thx for the info.

I guess that means no UB for me...
I certainly won't buy the full version just to compile a plugin.

Any idea if there will be a UB Demoversion anytime soon?

I've heard from Srek that a UB Demoversion is being worked on. No confirmed timeline.
