I'm creating a COFFEE tag expression that contains a Link user data field. I can grab spline objects into it and it will perform some calculations on them. I want it to be able to work with ALL types of splines, even the primitive ones, like Circle, Star or Flower. So, to perform the calculations I need, I have to run a SendModelingCommand command on them to make a Current State to Object. Of course this creates a new object that I delete (Remove) as soon as the calculations are performed. But this also deselects the COFFEE tag. I don't want it to be deselected because the user may want to fiddle more with the user data fields (it has a few more).
Can this be done? Thank you for any reply.
