how are buttons activated in coffee.

I figure outt some the basic things like loading resource files
understanding matrices but this simple activate button thing is kicking my butt. Button ID is in a resource file Class is GeDialog /Command (msg)
Does case = button ID ? Do you need a class (Init)?

I can not find any good documentation that explains this.

I had buttons set to select a certian type of item which was not part of the scene. Using the console I was able to check to see what was wrong with each button. I am a newbie so I tend overlook some basic things at times even after figuring out some complex coding.
