Does anyone know offhand how I might go about determining "where I am" in the directory structure? (i.e. determine C4D's root directory as installed on a machine?I looked through the docs and am leaning toward the usage of GetFile of the likes, but thought I would fish for some possible alternatives

D'Oh! I guess I get to answer my own question. It appears that the SDK assumes it's in the root (obvious to me now :-)) ... so I can use something like:
Bool MyClass::resourceExists() { String iconFile = "res/icon.tif"; // determine if the file exists return (GeFExist(iconFile, FALSE)); }
to determine if a file needed is part of the plugin install, for example.
Carry on, nothing to see here
