THE POST BELOW IS MORE THAN 5 YEARS OLD. RELATED SUPPORT INFORMATION MIGHT BE OUTDATED OR DEPRECATED

Usually C4D creates new documents with a default frame rate of 30 fps. This could create some problem, because I usually work with 25 fps and it may happens to forget to turn the frame rate at the right value. Is it possible to change this setting and let C4D create new documents with a default of 25 fps? Is there some preference file or setting that accomplish this?
      Thanks

Since this setting is stored per document, you could create an empty document with settings you like and save it as new.c4d and template.c4d in the root directory of your C4D installation. C4D will load template.c4d as the startup scene and new.c4d when you create a new scene.
