Sterner posted a while back that each client prerolls. Now I am hacking a test of NET by using server and NET on one machine and quiting client in the middle of the render and then restarting client. The job finishes and I look at the result of a simulation ( each uses data from previous frames ). In this case, after checking, the client does not preroll. It just begins where it left off ( checked by adding a GePrint in the GetVirtualObject for each frame ). My plugin does save the current state based on TP Particles and load it correctly. How is the documented evaluated? Is it sent to server that prerolls and then sends the files to the client? Does the server send the same file to all clients and they preroll? Are there known issues?

Could really use help on this.

      Regards,
      David Farmer

So it seems that we also cannot use NET to "Render As Editor"?
