      Hi,

i need informations about the normal tag.
I have'nt found any menu entrys. Can a user create/modify this tag? Is this an internal cache for pong normals?

If i change many polygons, then i must update this tag?

The normal tag is a hack to allow importing file formats where the normals don't necessarily match the geometry. The renderer will then use the normals in the tag instead. Most modeling operations in C4D ignore this tag, so at least you will be in good company if you do the same.
