Take for example two plane objects, a bigger one and a smaller one, and place the smaller one in front of the bigger one in z order...or even at the same z value. If you click onto the smaller one, the smaller one is selected, and if you move ourside the smaller one but inside the bigger one, the bigger one is selected in the editor...ok.
The behaviour of my own objects is different, always the bigger one is selected, not very nice, how to change that behaviour?

I think that the selection order is undefined where two polygons of different objects intersect. Is the bigger one selected with your objects even if the smaller one is placed strictly in front of the bigger one? (There are no special tricks in this area, afaik. It should just work right away.)

....a little strange...today my new login ( mandrake77 ) does't work, but now my old not working one works again...strange....
However...hm...the cinema objects still behave different from my ones. I place the smaller object at the same position as the bigger one, click within the smaller one, and the smaller one is selected. If I use my own objects, the bigger one is selected...

But the objects....if I double click the smaller one ( my object ) several times, the smaller one is selected....but with the cinema materials it always works, with out double clicking and so....really strange
