      When a plugin is registered and placed into the C4D "Plugins" menu the first letter is always captialized. This seems rather arbitrary. Make me feel like there is even remotely a reason...?

        Are you sure, that it´s not your folder name that is capitalized? Then it might be an OS dependant thingy for afaik folders on Windows i.e. are not case-sensitive and therefore it doesn´t matter if your folder name is capitalized or not. But for design purposes I think capitalizing them then is fully sensible...
