      Hey

is there a message if you add or a layer or change the layer of your own object

I have a hidden children under my object and I like to add the layer to them as well.

Hi Conner, thanks for writing us.

With regard to your request, consider that adding or changing the layer whom an object is assigned to, changes object's dirtiness. You can grab the dirty status pre and post change/add using GetDirty(c4d.DIRTYFLAGS_DATA).

        Best, Riccardo
