      Unfortunately there's no simple way to optimize this.
      Cinema 4D itself has a similar checkbox in the Editor tab, called "Animated Preview".
      The only thing that comes to mind is some kind of white listing shaders for which you need to do the "per frame update". But then again, don't forget about shaders, which support sub-shaders.
