Does anybody know how to use that project example? I made it run, but to be honest I don´t understand what the routine checks for. What does the user have to input in the dialog to make the example serial checking succeed? (something with TEST- but then?? Don´t get it)
Any help appreciated. Rob?
Best

If the example is so confusing it's probably easier to write your own. There are no unique ideas in that code. But I think that the number must begin with "TEST" and a number.
You only have to note the ReadPluginInfo()/WritePluginInfo() calls to store encrypted information. The rest is just dialog management, afaict.
(C'mon, hackers have long been able to circumvent and reverse engineer serial schemes with a debugger only. And here you have the whole source code at your disposal... -

Howdy,
What about the line:
#define MYPLUGIN_ID 9999999 // CHANGE THIS !!!!
Is this supposed to be a new ID from Plugin Cafe or the current ID of the plugin to be registered.
What if there are several IDs in a plugin suite?

That's a new unique ID, for the serial number part of the plugin.
