How can i force the document to update from a menuplugin? currently i'm using a SendModelingCommand function and then trying to update the objects with a object->Message(MSG_UPDATE); but it still requires that the camera move, or in fact any action take place in the document before teh viewport refreshes and the result of using the menuplugin become visible.

GeEventAdd(DOCUMENT_CHANGED) should work...for more events and information have a look into the COFFEE docs.
