      THE POST BELOW IS MORE THAN 5 YEARS OLD. RELATED SUPPORT INFORMATION MIGHT BE OUTDATED OR DEPRECATED

      Is there any information available for the ExplosionFX
      deformer? I'm trying to blow up a critter, which
      ExplosionFX does well, but also have the clusters land on
      the ground, but I can't find a way to assign any sort of
      collision objects.

      I don't BTW have the Dynamics module (yet). I'm hoping to
      pull this off without having to buy it, and I don't think
      that it's going to require a totally accurate simulation;
      as long as the clusters land and skitter a bit rather than
      falling through the floor, it ought to be ok. I was hoping
      that I could do this with a bit of COFFEE or XPresso, but
      I can't find a way to directly interact with the clusters.

      Thanks!

        There are no special interfaces to the ExplosionFX object in the API. I'd suggest asking the regular support or consulting the manual. (I don't know the answer myself.)

          That's a bummer. I'll consult with support. Thanks!
