      THE POST BELOW IS MORE THAN 5 YEARS OLD. RELATED SUPPORT INFORMATION MIGHT BE OUTDATED OR DEPRECATED

      Hey all.  I'm writing a tutorial on C.O.F.F.E.E. that includes a method for holding on to object level data from one iteration to another.  In this case, it is the falling speed of the object that increases as time progresses.
      To remember the falling speed at the object level, I poke the last know value into the object's contatiner using:
          the_object_container->SetData(32000, drop_speed);
      On the next iteration, I read out that value, update it, and the cycle continues.  Now, what I'd like to know is what data ID number range should I be using?  I picked 32000 out of the air which is dangerous but ok for testing/learning.  Suggestions?
      Thanks.

        The best is to use a real unique ID from PluginCafe. The second best, for testing/learning, is to use a number in the range 1000001-1000010.

          So plugin id's can be registered for this use?  I though they were just for uniquely identifying a plugin.  For now, I'll use the test range.
          Thanks
