Multiple Expression Tags?

Howdy,

Is it possible to set up a plug-in expression tag so that it's able to be assigned more than once on an object (multiple tags showing in the objects tag list)?

The idea is to have the expression tag affecting a different object than it is assigned to (an object dropped into the link), simply for the convenience of bringing the expressions out of the hierarchy where they can be grouped together on one object for easy access.
