The promotional page for 8.207 states we should look to plugincafe.com for more information on the updated elements of the SDK within 8.207. Where is it at?

Afaik since version 8, the SDKs are only included in the demo versions or release versions of Cinema 4D. So you´d need to download either the demo or use your cinema 4D version 🙂

The updated docs for 8.2 aren't finished yet. You are welcome to ask here in the forum if you have specific questions. (You can use windiff to see what has changed in the API. Perhaps I should include such a thing in the docs.)

            Hello Mikael,
I prefer docs that explain the updated functions, why they are removed, added, or altered. Looking forward to the updated SDK.

Hey, still mad about that unfortunate HyperFile::ReadChannel() trap? 😉
But ok, I'll see if there's time to compile a list of the most important changes and additions.

Not mad. The ReadChannel was an issue because the change was not documented. The majority of other SDKs we are working with have a list of the updated SDK components when a new version is released. This is the way I wish it was for C4D so I will keep asking everytime a new version is released, or until it is done correctly from my perspective.
