Polygon selection order

For selected objects you can define an option to get the order in which the objects were selected.
Is this also possible for polygon selections, so to get the order in which the polygons were selected?"If not, can I use the interaction tag - python to see what polygons were / are selected?

With regard to your question, I confirm that there's no option to get the order of the selected polygons nor the interaction tag can help in this direction.
