      Hello.

In Olight.h, there is the parameter LIGHT_PHOTOMETRIC_PREVIEW which is basically a bitmap of the photometric file. Can I declare bitmaps as parameters in *.res files or do I have to create a GeUseArea with bitmap buttom ?

      Thank you for your time.

        Hi,

what do you mean with "a GeUserArea with a bitmap button"? Probably you are confusing something. The bitmap button is a CustomGUI (and more relevant in this context also CustomDatatype) that can be used directly in parameter description resource files, like for example in olight.res belonging to the header you were referring to.

In order to work with it, you will need to listen to MSG_DESCRIPTION_GETBITMAP. DescriptionGetBitmap then contains the DescID of the button and you'll provide the bitmap. The data type is CUSTOMDATATYPE_BITMAPBUTTON.
