Sounds great!
The posewr thing has me interested--and I'm sure other C4d users would be interested in this as well. What other formats/features are you planning on implementing? -

Other than the Poser tools, I want to make have rigged model interchange between LW, C4D, Carrara, Maya and DAZ Models. I started these tools because I wanted to use some of the great off the shelf models that were available for some programs (just never mine). There are tools available for transfer between high end apps, but not between low and high end and the low end tools are where most of the commercial models are. There is not much for sale for the high end tools, models there are mostly custom (and very expensive).
I'm starting the C4D tools this weekend, any suggestions for C4D tools are welcome. And you can always contact me through my website.David

Would you mind if I posted your info on other sites where more c4d users hang out? Or, if you would rather do it, ou can go here:
http://www.cgtalk.com (under the cinema 4d section)
or here:

Many c4d users will be able to give you feedback at these places,

My first C4D product is now out.
It is a C4D to LW bidirectional interchange for models.
It moves geometry, uvs, textures, bones and weights and morphs.Take a look at the C4D GMI tools at
www.GreenbriarStudio.com/3DThe next one out will be the CR2 Loader for C4D. I expect to have that out very shortly.

Awesome--I'll post on post forum and cgtalk.
What is the CR2 loader? Poser models? How about Poser animations and textures?

Yes, CR2 Loader is the Poser model importer. I did the C4D - LW first to learn the insides of C4D before moving the monster CR2 Loader over. There is a lot on it on my website. Like the LW link, CR2 Loader pulls all gemoetry, bones, materials and textures and morphs. Everything but animation right now. That's still under construction. C4D may be the first version with animation.

I'm glad your getting a lot of interest.
I am trying to picture how the plugin would function. There is a poser plugin already available (for R7 of C4d) that allows you to bring Poser files directly into C4d, including animations.
It sounds like this plugin lets you have access to all the feaures of Poser from within C4d, so I wouldn be loading a pre built Poser scene, but I would be loading the raw Poser model directly and have access to the same morph/poses, textures and props from within C4d.
The old plugin required one you do all your figure setup, poses, etc in Poser. Yours seems to bypass Poser completely--which would be great--as the current version of poser is not compatable with OSX (mac) and its a pain to reboot in )S9 whenever I want to add a figure.
I do alot of animation and illustration that uses the figure as a teaching tool (medical and science) so Poser is becoming a good/quick way to get a custom figure into a C4d project file.
Thanks

Right - this is NOT a run Poser in C4D (although I write those type of tools also). This does not connect to Poser, but rather reads the Poser character and scene files and creates a C4D native model from that description. Just like you built it in C4D (like we all have the time!). It has all the morphs, bones, textures, etc that the figure had in Poser, but it's now a C4D model and you can use all of the facilities availble in C4D to animate, deform, whatever.
That was my goal when I started. NATIVE models that I can use in each app.
