I want to store some data for a tool plugin with objects. The object container would be perfect for this.I think we are allowed to use our plugin ID as container id where we put data. Can you confirm?
e.g. BaseContainer bc = FillContainerWithMyStuff();
obj->GetDataInstance()->SetContainer(MY_PLUGIN_ID, bc);I tried to use a tag but it is not as cool because it creates a warning and unknown tag symbols when the scene file is read without the plugin.
P.S. I have no control over the object. It should work with any object type.
