Here's an idea for a plugin that would be very useful.

Take a spline, take a peice of geometry, choose an axis and upvector of the object (like Y and +X) put the spline and the object within the plugin object and the geometry object gets deformed along the spline, from a starting point to an end point... kinda like a rail deformer... ok so that's cool for making a logo wrap around a path... but you can do this anyway (albeit with a lot more effort than should be the case) using the current spline deformer.

So to make this special.. now make it so that you can either put in a spline object that contains multiple paths, or a null or object containing multiple spline objects, and for each spline the object is instanced and deformed. This would be great for using particle trails to generate not just strips, but actual grass blades, each blade an instance deformed along the spline, or a shoal of fish, again lots of splines, a fish object (that might be animated) and just animate the start and end points for where the fish are on the splines.

I've not come accross a plugin that instances then deforms based on the number of objects inside of it, but i think this would be very useful. Although MSA attaches many objects to one spline... i'd like a plugin that attaches many instances of one object to many splines and deformes the object to fit.
