THE POST BELOW IS MORE THAN 5 YEARS OLD. RELATED SUPPORT INFORMATION MIGHT BE OUTDATED OR DEPRECATED

      Hi,

we have a ResEdit forum, with 16 threads. But we have only one forum for all the three specific languages available in c4d with a tremendously higher frequency.

I would really love to see the SDK Help forum split into these 3 language categories and honestly fully get rid of the ResEdit forum (as questions concerning this could also go into any of the 3 subforums or even the general one). It would make searching the forums and communication more straight forward and simply easier.

Would that be possible? Subforums are imo there to exactly do that, being able to discuss main topics and I´d say now that we have C++, COFFEE and Python it would just fit this criteria perfectly.

      Thanks

Agreed. I'm not interested in Python so it would be useful not to see questions/replies about that, but a lot of people will be very interested. That topic is likely to grow quickly, and it really needs its own sub-forum.

If that is done it clearly makes sense to give COFFEE its own sub-forum as well.

Personally I'd keep the ResEdit forum as its use is common to all three languages. But I don't feel strongly about it.

Hmm, is it possible to get at least an official comment on this one? Is it no option currently?

We were thinking about this, it will be discussed.
