i guess there isnt much one can do, as long as you dont have the money to get someone involved who is able to really care..

but well.. at least it is worth to get cracked, right??

LOL.. great.. yeah someone mentioned on here before that the best way to think about it is that these people who get your plugin for free would never had paid for it anyway so it's not worth worrying about. I think that's a good philosophy.

I did exactly the same last week. Kind of a sad thing to do but I just wanted to see if anyone thought it worthwhile to crack it - and someone had! So I guess I'm up there with the big boys (all the really big plugins were cracked there too)!
Two things interested me: one guy posting there had a username identical to one I've seen quite frequently on CG talk. Difficult to believe that anyone would be that dumb but it was an unusual name, and these aren't exactly master criminals, so who knows.
The other thing was that most of the folks there seemed more interested in cracking plugins than actually using them to make images. A couple of them seemed to be pretty competent coders, so why they don't code their own plugins is beyond me. Anyway, I'm pretty sure none of them would have bought my, or anyone else's, plugin if they couldn't get a cracked version, so I doubt there have been many lost sales as a result.
