      THE POST BELOW IS MORE THAN 5 YEARS OLD. RELATED SUPPORT INFORMATION MIGHT BE OUTDATED OR DEPRECATED

      User Information:
      Cinema 4D Version:   11
      Platform:   Windows  ;   Mac OSX  ;
      Language(s) :     C++  ;

      ---------
      Depending on the user's preference...
      - Tags are displayed in 13 x 13, 18 x 18 or 24 x 24 px
      - Commands are displayed in 32 x 32, 24 x 24 and 16 x 16 px

      Is there any way to avoid scaling the displayed icons by providing the icons in different resolutions? MultiResolution tiff doesn't seem to work.

      If yes, how?

      Thanks!

      Kabe

        As long as you provide a 32x32 icon, the scaling down isn't an issue except for looks maybe. Look at MSG_GETCUSTOMICON and Icon Collection Library.

          Well, as I wrote I would like to avoid scaling and this is *exactly* for the looks.

          It's obvious that most users don't change their icon/tag display size, but if they do, even some of Cinema's own icons look bad. I'm aware that it more or less works as it is, i.e. diplaying an icon.

            It is currently not possible to react to icon size change, meaning you don't know which icon size the user has set.
